The optimal group size at EscapeVenture is typically between 2 and 6 people per room. Larger groups can book multiple rooms simultaneously, and there's an option to play with more than 6 people by booking multiple rooms and competing against each other.

Yes, cancellations and changes are free of charge up to 72 hours before the game starts. After that, a cancellation fee of 50 euros per game applies.
Yes, you can change the number of participants at any time up to the maximum allowed number of players per game. The price will be adjusted on-site, and any difference will be settled on-site.
If you choose on-site payment, the game will be reserved for you, and you will receive a reservation confirmation email, which you should bring to the game. The invoice will be automatically sent by email after payment.
EscapeVenture accepts PayPal, credit card, and bank transfer payments on the website. On-site payments can be made by credit card or debit card, cash payment is not possible. If fewer players show up than booked, the overpaid amount will be refunded on-site. If more players participate, the additional amount can be paid on-site.
You will receive a commercial invoice for all games automatically immediately after payment. Therefore, please ensure that you provide the correct billing address during the order process. Companies can usually deduct the invoice as team-building measures for tax purposes.
All games at EscapeVenture are available in both German and English, so both German-speaking and English-speaking players can enjoy a complete experience.
Before the game
It is recommended to arrive about 5 minutes before your booked time to make all necessary preparations.
Accompanied by an adult: Artefacts from 6 years old. VR games and Doc Eisenbarth from 12 years old. Carrie from 14 years old. Without adult supervision: Artefacts from 12 years old, Doc Eisenbarth from 14 years old, Carrie from 16 years old. Toddlers under 6 years old are not charged.
For the classic escape games, no special equipment is required; comfortable clothing is recommended. For VR games, no special equipment is necessary either, as the VR goggles and all necessary devices are provided by EscapeVenture. However, it is advisable not to wear bulky or heavy clothing, as it could restrict movement during the VR experience. Additionally, updo hairstyles may be inconvenient. If needed, glasses wearers can wear their eyewear under the VR goggles.
At EscapeVenture, a consent form is required for participants under 16 years old. The consent form is an important document that must be filled out and signed by the legal guardian to confirm consent to participate in the game. You can download the form here.
The missions are in no way dangerous, and no physical exertion (running, climbing, etc.) is required. However, it is essential for participants, even amidst excitement, to remain calm and follow
During the game
Before the game starts, the game master explains the rules. These include safety instructions, handling of props and puzzles, and behavior during the game. The instructions of the game master are to be followed for a safe and enjoyable gaming experience.
Player safety is the top priority. The doors are not locked, so players can exit the room at any time. Unfortunately, the games are not wheelchair accessible.
Yes, the games are monitored by staff. Cameras in the rooms allow game masters to track progress and provide assistance if needed.
Our missions are in no way dangerous, and no physical exertion (running, climbing, etc.) is required. As long as the rules announced at the beginning are followed, the course should not be more dangerous than visiting a restaurant. Of course, stumbling or bumping is possible anywhere and at any time, so participation is always at your own risk. EscapeVenture is not suitable for people with claustrophobia, panic attacks, discomfort in tight and dark spaces, or similar conditions.
No! The missions do not require extraordinary skills or abilities. The tasks are solvable for everyone. Above all, you need teamwork, logic, and creativity to master the tasks.
After the game
If you don't achieve the goal within the specified time, the game will end. The fun and the experience are the focus, regardless of the outcome of the game.
You can share your experience on social media without revealing game details. You can provide feedback online or directly to the EscapeVenture team. If your gaming experience was impacted, please inform the game master or email alexander@escapeventure.com so we can address it.
Taking photos and filming in the rooms during the game is not allowed. However, you can take photos in designated areas after the game.
