EscapeVenture is a brand of EscapeVenture GmbH (hereinafter referred to as 'EscapeVenture' or 'we'). Our General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as 'GTC') govern the use of our services. By using our services, you agree to these GTC. Our services are intended for individuals aged 8 to 99 years. The minimum age for participation in the escape games is 6 years. We reserve the right to deny access without further explanation.

1. Scope of Application and Contractual Partner

EscapeVenture is a brand of EscapeVenture GmbH (hereinafter referred to as 'EscapeVenture' or 'we'). Our General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as 'GTC') govern the use of our services. By using our services, you agree to these GTC. Our services are intended for individuals aged 8 to 99 years. The minimum age for participation in the escape games is 6 years. We reserve the right to deny access without further explanation.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings are made through our website www.escapeventure.com.
  • All individuals listed in the booking must have given their authorization to the group leader before booking.
  • For participants under 16 years of age, parental or legal guardian consent must be provided. The form for downloading can be found here.
  • The group leader is responsible for the timely payment to EscapeVenture. He must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.
  • A reservation is only valid once confirmed by EscapeVenture via email. This confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during booking.
  • The prices for the events are noted online under the 'Book Appointment' section and are per person in Euro. The prices valid on the day of the event are decisive.
  • The payment terms are defined in the booking system, currently advance payment via the website and card payment on site are possible (no cash payments).

3. Cancellation and Changes

Cancellation is free of charge up to 72 hours in advance. Please send us an email for this purpose. Deposits will be refunded minus third-party fees. EscapeVenture reserves the right to cancel or modify confirmed bookings in rare cases.

4. Program Changes and Cancellation of Execution

EscapeVenture reserves the right to make minor changes to the services that have no effect on the validity or content of the subject matter of the contract. EscapeVenture may cancel an event or cancel a booking. In this case, the participant will be informed immediately and offered an equivalent alternative. Entry to the rooms may be denied if participants are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs or behave inappropriately. The game may be terminated in case of willful destruction of the equipment.

5. Number of Participants and Minimum Age

  • The maximum number of participants per game is up to 7 people (depending on the mission) or up to 21 people when booking three rooms simultaneously.
  • The minimum age, accompanied by an adult: Artefacts from 6 years onwards. The VR games as well as Doc Eisenbarth from 12 years onwards. Carrie from 14 years onwards. Without adult accompaniment: Artefacts from 12 years onwards, Doc Eisenbarth from 14 years onwards, Carrie from 16 years onwards. Toddlers up to 6 years old are not charged.
  • EscapeVenture is not suitable for individuals with claustrophobia, panic attacks, discomfort in tight and dark spaces, or similar conditions.

6. Liability and Security

  • Participation is at your own risk. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants or the legal representatives of minor participants.
  • EscapeVenture assumes no liability for direct or indirect damages such as injuries, deaths, losses, or similar.
  • Photography and filming within the EscapeVenture premises are prohibited.
  • Participants must strictly follow the instructions of the game master.

7. Data Protection and Recordings

  • During the game, the group is monitored in real-time using video cameras to inform the game master about the current progress of the game.
  • We reserve the right to publish photos created by us unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. Arrival and Delays

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the booked location on time, as time slots are reserved separately for each group and the room is prepared accordingly.
  • In case of late arrival, the right to the paid service expires.

9. Force Majeure

EscapeVenture is not liable for cancellations or changes due to force majeure, including war, terrorism, political unrest, natural disasters, and similar events.

10. Changes to the GTC

EscapeVenture reserves the right to change the GTC at any time and without notice.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the registered office of EscapeVenture in Angern, Germany. German law exclusively applies.
